| Daily Forex Blog: December and the Holidays |

I looked back over the last year, and was surprised to see the number of articles I had written and the interaction I have with several of the readers of the blog. It's been a great year and I can't believe it's already gone. It seems like only yesterday I was writting about trading with statistical advantages, and showing you a quick way to count using Excel. My daughter has left for college, and my son is getting ready to drive. It's been a year of big changes and some of them have been great. I rededicated my self to demo trading and practice trading. I still trade live, but I am sure that if you are a reader of the blog you have heard me quote Bruce Lee. "I never fear a man that has practised 10,000 kicks once, but 1 kick 10,000 times."
The same holds true for any person that excells in their field. Robots will not make you the money you want to make. There are tips tricks and techniques that will make you better, but in the end it is your dedication to understanding the market and understanding your tolerances and abilities. I would encourage each of you to take the last few weeks of the year and get to know your trading style, plan a way to practice trade, plan your success for the coming year, never underestimating the ability of the market to kill you and your account.
