You may notice a little bit different feel to the email today. In fact, it’s a change that I will be holding to for the foreseeable future. Though it is a subtle change, it’s significant for me and my readers. First, I’ll tell you about the change.

What’s the Change?
I will now be posting all my trades, displaying charts that show what I was looking at when I entered them and when I closed them. Because I post to this blog daily, and I have a life outside of trading, I will not be posting the trades live. However, I will be discussing the set ups daily in the email, and telling you when, where and why setups are coming. I won’t be telling people to enter trades and these are not trade recommendations for you. They are simply what I am looking to do. It’s kind of like making my trading journal public. I am even going to go one step further, at the end of each month I will post my live accounts closed trades list.

Why the Change?
I have wanted to post my trades for quite some time now. I wasn’t sure how it would be perceived, or what people would think. I knew there would be people out there that would just run it down. Then I realized something, I don’t care. I couldn’t care less what others thought about me or my trades. If they stand up under scrutiny by those that put the effort into understanding it, then that’s all I care about.

What I Hope to Achieve.
  • Accountability. I have heard it said that accountability to others is one of the best ways to improve your trading.
  • Sharing Success/Failure: In doing this I hope that others will pick up something that can help them in their trading, and in turn will be inspired to help others in their success. Not only can others learn  from watching someone in their successes, but they can learn just as much from failures also. I am not going to leave out any of the failures I have.
  • Community: I would hope that others begin to get involved and we can build a community of traders that can support each other through the tough trades.
Here’s to future success, and I hope to see all of you around the blog!
