I just wanted everyine to know that we recieved this email this afternoon. We just wanted to thank everyone.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to thank each one of you for taking the time to vote for our video. Your efforts paid off. Our "3 Sisters" video won the People's Choice Award. We are excited and hope that you are too...because it took everyone's help to pull it off. As a result you have ALL contributed to a $5,000 donation to Humanitarian Emergency Response.

Even though we didn't win the $10,000, we are thrilled because $5,000 is still a lot of money to donate for the Haiti relief efforts. As soon as we get the check, we will make the donation. We have spoken with the Humanitarian Emergency Response team and 100% of the donation will go to providing food, blankets, first aid kits, water filtration bottles, newborn and hygiene kits, wheelchairs and pallets of supplies specially designed for orphanages (among other items as the needs continue to be assessed). Humanitarian Emergency Response has teamed up with Islamic Relief USA to get even more urgently needed supplies into Haiti.

We love how Vitamix said "YOU have chosen 3sisters as our winner!" Indeed our friends and family, it is because of you. Thanks again. This was a neat experience to have all of you collaborate for the greater good.

p.s. The gourmet prize winner ($5,000) was our new friend, Brooke, who demonstrated unbelievable kindness when she told her own friends and family to turn their votes our way to help Haiti. We are glad that she was blessed for her selflessness. The grand prize winner is a professional chef named Heather. She is very gifted and her award was well deserved.
